thank you geli!
my international (potted) garden is growing!

Saturday, March 20, at approximately midnight is the official first day of spring for 2010 in the Northern Hemisphere (Vernal Equinox).

On that day, the Southern Hemisphere observes the Autumnal Equinox, which is the equivalent of the start of Autumn.

to all my friends who are still wishing for spring to appear, i found a little song for you to sing while you wait! happy spring everyone, unless of course it's now autumn for you, and then i want to wish you a happy autumn instead!

  2. It's softly raining here this morning, which will turn the brown grass green. The temperature has warmed up considerably. I'm going to clean the house ready for some people to view later..... Is this the spring change?

This is one of the first official days of the first day of spring that actually feels like spring here in Maine. It may not last but it is very much appreciated!

  7. Hi Lori,
How glorious is your garden going to be?? Springtime has all of us excited and invigorated and I am happy to say that spring has come early to my little part of Canada. In a few weeks crocuses will poke through and the tulips will blossom. And on the weekend of May 1st the magnolia tree will be in glorious bloom (for all of 4 or 5 days). Enjoy Lori ... and love the shots.

  14. my autumn is your spring and i imagine that at this point in time we're experiencing very similar weather.

autumn is beautiful here... in the sense that the skies are blue with enough cloud to create gentle days.

flowers bloom and we begin to see more green arrive that summer had burnt away. (but no rain at all)

enjoy sewing seeds and all that they will bring. i hope owen isn't a fan of seedlings as my dog was in his youth.

    much love
